Hey Lex and fellow believers… Last week and this week I managed to join the live stream (4:00 AM here when it goes live) and I’m glad that I could ask my questions directly… however last week I asked:

How do you forgive people that sin against you? I do say I forgive them but the next time they lie to me I get angry and think: Now they lie AGAIN. ps. I when I pray I do ask god to forgive them.

Lex answerd that we should forgive as God forgives us, that we are forgiven as we forgive others. That we should forgive 7 times 70 times. That we only hurt ourselves by not forgiving people, That not forgiving can cause mental problems.

I already know this and I couldn’t agree more, but that was not my question, or at least not what I ment, what I ment was:
How do you mentally forgive and let go of grudges… I want to forgive people but when someone sins against me I want to forgive them… but the next time they sin against me I get angry that they did it again… But that means I haven’d truly forgiven them… because I still hold their past transgressions against them…

So how do you forgive? how do you do that mentaly? How do you let go of grudges?

When I pray I do ask god to forgive them even if I don’t and I ask God that when they are judged that their transgressions towards me will not be held against them…
