Kinda a personal question. How do you personally celebrate the Shabbat? I will do the candles and communion to start it. Then I fast till sundown Sat. Will prolly sleep in some and then catch a service Sat in the am and just chill /rest. Then I usually go out for dinner after the Sabbath is over, as a way to celebrate and break the fast. I know some people do a big family meal to welcome the Sabbath. Is there a “prescribed” way to do it or is one way as good as another as long as you rest?

Biography.....um....Not sure what to put here. Still growing in my walk with Yeshua. Still learning. I try to do what I can right, but sure I don't do everything or know everything yet.
The Scriptures don’t tell us in a “prescribed” way so anything along the lines would go into adding to the Torah.
My family personally, have our own worship service Friday evening during the winter or Saturday mornings during the summer. Before the pandemic, we used to also go every Saturday morning to a service in an SDA church nearby for communion.
Other than that, we avoid youtube, messenger, games, etc on the devices that can play ads (otherwise someone will be doing financial transactions on that day because of us), rest, see friends, etc.
I want to do more fasting on the Sabbath but I don’t want to do it every week otherwise my body gets used to it and I’m afraid it won’t be the same challenge (I used to fast once a week for 36 hours for fitness reasons in the past and after a while, I got used. Although, back then, I didn’t fast from water so it could be different. I need to try I guess).
