A congregation I attended was promoting Yom Kippur as the wedding, and sukkot as the honeymoon. I am not sure about Yom Kippur being a wedding…your thoughts would be appreciated. thanks!

In looking at Lev. 23 regarding Passover, the Hebrew uses the word ‘Shabbat’ for the weekly Sabbath, but for the first and last days of Unleavened, the phrase ‘miq ra ey kadesh’ מקראי קזש is used.
