MEMORY VERSE
“It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master…”

The goal and desire of every disciple is to become more like Yeshua. The only way for us to become like Yeshua is to spend time with Him, learning who He is, learning to hear His voice, and imitating Him in our daily lives.
When I was young, my dad taught me to ask myself the question, “What Would Jesus Do?” This is a great way to keep our focus on being like Him, because it teaches us to consider His opinion on every situation we might encounter.
When we make it our practice to seek His will on every situation in our life, we are learning to be more like Him in practical ways.
What are some things you can do to be more like Yeshua?
Something I can and do work on doing is being patient as Yeshua was around His disciples. His disciples had a lot to “unlearn” and it took time, years in fact. He was patient and consistent with His disciples especially the twelve. Thanks Lex for doing this. I have been weak in ‘self discipline’ for some time and less than a week ago I confessed that to God and admitted I need help. This week I find your discipleship program. He is faithful. I started yesterday and look forward to this each morning. A long story to tell, maybe someday I’ll pass it on.
