MEMORY VERSE
“But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.'”
– Luke 4:4
When Yeshua was tempted by Satan, He used the scriptures as a weapon to fight against temptation. This has to do with giving the Scriptures authority in your life. Paul described the Word of God as a sword that we use when fighting the powers of darkness.
“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”
– Ephesians 6:17
If we learn to wield this weapon correctly, we can defeat any attack of the enemy.
Yeshua said, we “live by every Word that comes from God”. His Word brings life and health and freedom. Our victory comes when we bring the Word of God with us to battle, but without the word of God, we are unarmed and defenseless against the attack of the enemy.
Arm yourself my with the sword of the Spirit, and strike the enemy with the power and authority of God’s Word.
