MEMORY VERSE
“For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

Some people speak presumptuously because they haven’t learned how to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit correctly. However, the main problem people have is they speak from the flesh because they don’t even try to listen to the Holy Spirit.
Speaking from the flesh causes strife, contention, anger, hurt feelings, and broken relationships. Speaking from the flesh includes vulgar language, slander, gossip, and arguments.
Holy men speak according to the leading of the Holy Spirit, not according to the flesh.
“for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”
– 2 Peter 1:21
When someone attacks you or tries to start an argument, do you react from your flesh or do you listen for guidance from the Holy Spirit about what to say?
When someone asks for advice do you speak your own opinion, or do you ask the Holy Spirit to give you words to say?
We need to learn how to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and speak according to what He says.
